Paintings made by the Seattle Prize Fellows during their year in the studios upstairs, now part of the Conru Art Foundation’s permanent collection. These are the pictures they set out to make when the rest of their lives got out of the way: ambitious, slow, and built to last. The wall grows as each cohort finishes its work.

Hanging the wall…
The collection is free to visit and on view year-round at the Occidental Fine Arts Center in Pioneer Square, Seattle. Walk the wall, then step upstairs to the third-floor studios where the next cohort is already at work.
Hanging alongside Beautiful Things. New Signature Works are added as each cohort completes them.
