The Grace We Carry is a portrait photography and storytelling project from Shades of Grace that explores the emotional, cultural, and personal experiences of Black women living in Seattle.
Through intimate portraits and honest storytelling, the project creates space for voices and experiences that are too often unseen. Each story invites audiences to connect through universal themes of identity, belonging, resilience, and self-discovery.
Rooted in the belief that art can bring people together through our shared humanity, The Grace We Carry celebrates the power of being seen, heard, and understood.
