Santa Fe sculptor Debra Baxter presents Ascent, her third solo exhibition at Roq La Rue. Inspired by women mystics throughout history and Baxter’s own transformative experiences with long COVID, the show explores femininity, vulnerability, spiritual connection, and resilience. Sculptures made from alabaster, bronze, steel, and crystal portray women striving to maintain higher consciousness while fracturing and falling apart.
